PRINTING CLASS: Gelli Printing & Hot Glue Stamps

A monoprint is a print that is one of a kind. In this class we will experiment with Gelli printing. Sounds weird. Yeah. It is. Using a print block made of a gelatinous material, we'll ink them up and make some gorgeous textures using handmade stamps made from hot glue. You'll be making your own stamps in class as well as using pre-made stamps provided for you. 

You will leave with a stack of gorgeous papers that you can use as backgrounds for other art pieces, cut them out into mobiles or garlands, bind them into a sketchbook - or anything else you can dream up.

This class will take place at Monster - 1716 NW Market Street.

If you cannot attend class for any reason, we will offer an exchange to another class currently on our schedule up to 48 hours before the class. After that time, no refunds or exchanges are issued out of respect for our teachers who purchase and prepare supplies based on the number of attendees.

Our current Covid protocol is that anyone attending an event can email us at Info@monstermonster.shop to let us know they prefer that people wear masks and/or we check vaccination records up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants.

Attendees will receive an email two days before the class to let them know If we will be checking vaccination records and requiring masks be worn.
