In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own hand embroidered patch from start to finish! You’ll learn basic embroidery stitches and a few different ways to make patches so you can make more after you get home! This is a fun class for beginners and seasoned stitchers alike. Bring your own simple design (up to 2”), or use the patch templates provided.
About the Instructor:
Erin Eggenburg is a maker, mender and instructor who lives in Bellingham, WA. She started her hand embroidery business, wrenbirdarts, in 2011, which has grown to include mending and embroidery kits and patterns, and 100% handmade, upcycled, cotton handkerchiefs. Erin regularly teaches visible mending and embroidery classes around the Bellingham and Seattle areas.
