EMBROIDERY CLASS: Embellishing a Moth

Want your first ever embroidery project to be a success? Stitch over an existing image so it'll basically look great no matter what! This colorful moth is just waiting for you to add some stitches - or just stitch her up a glamorous background - it's up to you! 

You'll learn some embroidery basics like the backstitch, reverse chain stitch and French knots and then we'll spend some time making our moth friend extra fancy!

Supplies Provided

 

* Embroidery Hoop
* Embroidery Floss
* Preprinted Moth Image on Cotton Canvas
* Needle
* Scissors

You'll have everything you need to complete the project - from the embroidery hoop and preprinted moth design to the colorful embroidery floss ✂️🧵 🤳.

This class will take place at Monster. Our address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107. It's at the intersection of 17th and NW Market Street - kitty corner from Mighty-O Donuts.

Class attendees receive a 20% discount on any same-day purchases at Monster (excluding original art, gift cards and class tickets). 

If you cannot attend class for any reason, we will offer an exchange to another class currently on our schedule up to 48 hours before the class. After that time, no refunds or exchanges are issued out of respect for our teachers who purchase and prepare supplies based on the number of attendees.

Our current Covid protocol is that anyone attending an event can email us at Info@monstermonster.shop to let us know they prefer that people wear masks and/or we check vaccination records up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants.

Attendees will receive an email before the class to let them know If we will be checking vaccination records and requiring masks be worn.

About Our Instructor

Rosalie Gale is most well known for co-inventing Shower Art: waterproof art to hang in your shower. She and her husband, Doug, own Ugly Baby & Monster and have been making a living creating really dumb art pieces for longer than anyone really expected.
