It's time to learn to tuft! We'll spend the afternoon shooting yarn out of a gun into fabric to create some amazing wall hangings.
We provide frames, fabric, yarn and tufting guns for you – all you need to provide is your design idea. We'll contact you after you purchase your ticket to find out what you plan to tuft.
You will be using a frame that is approximately 30 x 30 inches
We will focus on getting comfortable with the gun and the movement
We will use acrylic yarn so the piece you make will be best hung on a wall. We will have yarn available for you - but if you would like to use something specific, you are welcome to bring size 4 acrylic yarn.
Instructions on how to finish your piece will be provided at the end of the class and you can finish it on your own time.

About the Instructor
Rosalie Gale is most well known for co-inventing Shower Art: waterproof art to hang in your shower. She and her husband, Doug, own Ugly Baby & Monster and have been making a living creating really dumb art pieces for longer than anyone really expected.
My mom and I booked a private beginner Tufting class with Rosalie and it WAS SO MUCH FUN! Rosalie was so patient in teaching us and helping us whenever we had questions. I went in not having any experience or knowledge of this art form and left learning so much. This class is such a good gift idea or activity to do with friends. It was easy enough for a beginner like me who doesn't have much experience in crafting. I highly recommend. Thank you so much Rosalie for hosting such a memorable experience for my mom and I!
