Our newest featured artist is Shana Lee Hampton. Her show, Lovergirl, opens during Ballard Art Walk on Saturday, February 10th. We're open late - from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Shana Lee Hampton was born on a farm in Michigan in the seventies, grew up in Chicago, and now lives in Portland, Oregon. Her grandmother taught her to embroider and her artwork tells you everything she wants you know about her and her life.

Inspired by stories from my friend’s and my own ridiculous experiences dating and my love of pop art, Lovergirl tries to tell a story of being a “Lovergirl” in a world not made for love using needle and thread.
