  • EMBROIDERY CLASS: Thread Painting a Butterfly

Take your embroidery skills to the next level and learn the art of thread painting! This technique, also known as needle painting, involves blending multiple colors of embroidery floss together, giving the finished piece a painted effect. You’ll learn all the tips and tricks needed for making these beautiful gradients by practicing with a monarch butterfly pattern. By the end of this workshop, you'll have all the tools you need to create a beautiful piece of art that showcases the stunning possibilities of thread painting.

All supplies, including full skeins of floss, a hoop, needles, printed fabric, and instructions, will be provided. Some stitching experience is recommended, but all levels are welcome.

This class will take place at Monster. Our address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107. It's at the intersection of 17th and NW Market Street - kitty corner from Mighty-O Donuts.
