  • CROCHET CLASS: Granny Squares

While this class is beginner-friendly, knowing the basics like a slip knot, single crochet, and double crochet will be necessary for this project. If you would like to join and don’t have these skills yet check out my beginner crochet class at Monster or find some good tutorials on YouTube. I taught myself to crochet before the Internet existed and have all the faith you can learn too!

We will learn how to make a classic granny square in this class but there are many variations of granny squares. Granny squares can create bags, blankets, sweaters, and more! This class will include 3 balls of yarn and a hook so you can make a variety of granny squares.

This class will take place at Monster. Our address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107. It's at the intersection of 17th and NW Market Street - kitty corner from Mighty-O Donuts

If you cannot attend class for any reason, we will offer an exchange to another class currently on our schedule up to 48 hours before the class. After that time, no refunds or exchanges are issued out of respect for our teachers who purchase and prepare supplies based on the number of attendees.

Our current Covid protocol is that anyone attending an event can email us at Info@monstermonster.shop to let us know they prefer that people wear masks up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants.

Attendees will receive an email before the class to let them know If we will require masks be worn.

    ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTOR

Anna Avgeres was born and raised in Seattle Washington and has been creating for as long as she can remember. She taught herself to crochet around 8 and has never stopped! While she enjoys a variety of mediums including knitting, jewelry making and painting, her heart belongs to crochet. She currently works for King County but her passion for crafting drives her to teach the craft of crochet to others.
