Join local artist Kayla Ann for an evening of creativity and hands-on fun as you learn the art of needle felting while crafting a spring flower bouquet. Kayla will guide you through the fundamentals of this unique craft, teaching you how to "paint" with wool and sculpt beautiful blooms from fiber. Whether you're new to needle felting or looking to expand your skills, this workshop will provide you with the techniques, inspiration, and tools to continue creating at home.
A design will be provided to help you get started, but feel free to bring your own pictures or drawings. Leave class with a bouquet of vibrant flowers and the confidence to explore needle felting further! Hand and wrist dexterity is required for this class.
Instructor provided kits include:
6” bamboo embroidery hoop
Wool roving
Felt fabric
Felting needles
Foam block
This class will take place at Monster. Our address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107. It's at the intersection of 17th and NW Market Street - kitty corner from Mighty-O Donuts.
If you cannot attend class for any reason, we will offer an exchange to another class currently on our schedule up to 48 hours before the class. After that time, no refunds or exchanges are issued out of respect for our teachers who purchase and prepare supplies based on the number of attendees.
Our current Covid protocol is that anyone attending an event can email us at Info@monstermonster.shop to let us know they prefer that people wear masks up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants.
Attendees will receive an email before the class to let them know If we will require masks be worn.

Kayla Ann is a Seattle based artist known for spreading joy through print design, murals, and craft education. Her work is immersed in the magic of the natural world. She weaves her nordic heritage and love of vintage textiles into original designs that speak to nature lovers and nostalgic dreamers alike. Kayla has been leading nordic craft classes for over eight years and is passionate about the preservation and modern application of heritage techniques.
