    MACRAME CLASS: Wristlet Lanyard Keychain

    In this workshop with Angie Cooper of My Moon Macrame you will be taught the basic knotting techniques used in macrame. This class is great for beginners and intermediate levels. This project is designed to be altered to cater to students at any skill level. We provide craft supplies, video tutorials and one-on-one guidance to help you create your macrame project.

    During this class you will learn to macrame a lanyard keychain. Your instructor, Angie from My Moon Macrame will teach you the knots and provide step by step instructions to help you complete your project. You will go home with a completed macrame project and all the tools you need to continue your macrame journey at home.

    Supplies

    2mm & 4mm Oeko Tex Recycled Cotton Cord

    • This single-ply, 2mm & 4mm ;cotton string is soft and plush. It is make using Oeko Tex Certified Recycled Cotton.
    • Key Ring

    This class will take place at Monster. Our address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107. It's at the intersection of 17th and NW Market Street - kitty corner from Mighty-O Donuts.

    Attendees receive 20% off same day purchases at Monster - excluding gift cards, original art & class tickets. Fair warning: this discount is going away at the end of 2023. 

    If you cannot attend class for any reason, we will offer an exchange to another class currently on our schedule up to 48 hours before the class. After that time, no refunds or exchanges are issued out of respect for our teachers who purchase and prepare supplies based on the number of attendees.

    Our current Covid protocol is that anyone attending an event can email us at Info@monstermonster.shop to let us know they prefer that people wear masks up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants.

    Attendees will receive an email before the class to let them know If we will be checking vaccination records and requiring masks be worn.

    The minimum number of students needed for this class is five. If we do not reach the minimum, we will contact you about whether you would like to exchange for a different class or a refund.

    ANGIE COOPER, OWNER, MY MOON MACRAME

    Angie Cooper Is a the owner and artist behind a small Seattle based business, My Moon Macrame. She enjoys teaching fiber arts and sharing her passion for crafting with others. Each class is taught to cater to students of all levels. With every class each student will walk away with their own original art, skills and tools to continue their journey in fiber art.

    Such a fun class

    This class was perfect for people with or without macrame experience. Fun teacher who did great, visible demos to teach us the knots. We did a practice round before moving on to making our keychains. She offered multiple options so everyone could customize their keychain, and everyone completed the project in time.
